International Yoga Day was observed on June 21 to sensitise the students on the significance of this ancient practice in maintaining the balance of our body, mind and soul. The school reopened on June 10 after the vacation with a commitment to the future we envision. The excitement of the students marked the beginning of a new chapter filled with new opportunities, growth and success. The new academic year was inaugurated formally on July 12 with great zeal and enthusiasm. A special assembly with scripture reading and shared prayers was arranged. Rev. Fr. Shaju Pellissery, the Correspondent presided over and gave the presidential address. Rev. Fr. Dr. Philips Pontheckan, Principal gave the keynote address. Rev.Fr. Jaison Velukkaran, Bursar and Mr.Ram, the PTA President graced the occasion.
Educational development day was celebrated on July 15, 2024 to educate children about the achievements of the legendary leader & Honourable former Chief minister Karmaveerar Kamarajar. Rev. Fr. Dr. Philips Pontheckan , Principal lighted the lamp and paid tribute to the charismatic leader followed by Rev.Fr. Jaison Velukkaran, Bursar, Teachers & Students. Master. Dhavish Krishna gave an inspiring speech which awakened everyone's fondness towards the visionary leader.
Pongal, the traditional festival which showcases the rich culture of Tamil Nadu was celebrated on Jan 12th 2024 with great enthusiasm. Dr. S. Kausalya, Registrar, Avinashilingam University, Coimbatore was the Chief Guest. Rev. Fr. Dr. Philips Pontheckan, Principal, Rev. Fr. Varghese Chaakkalakal, Bursar, graced the occasion with their honorable presence. Students performed native dance forms, colourful rangolis, delicious Pongal, dance and songs which added grace to the festival. Christmas, a celebration which spreads the universal message of love and compassion was celebrated with great exuberance on Dec 22nd 2023. The Chief Guest, Mr. Rajesh Dogra, Deputy Commander, CRPF graced the occasion with his honorable presence. Rev. Fr. Jose Paul, Manager, Rev. Fr. Dr. Philips Pontheckan, Principal, Rev. Fr. Varghese Chaakkalakal, Bursar and PTA President, Mr. Ram Prasad, graced the occasion. Foyer decorated with Christmas crib, carols by students and teachers, nativity play marked the occasion. The celebration reached its zenith with the entry of Santa distributing gifts to lucky winners. The festival spirit of Christmas pervaded our school on Dec 21st 2023 with the students and teachers joining hands to decorate their class crib. It gave all an opportune time to betoken their creativity. Three distinct crib decorations were awarded. The competition was a vibrant blend of tradition, creativity and camaraderie. Students of KG classes celebrated Green Day on Nov 30th 2023 to recapitulate the mesmerizing world of green colour. Students attired in green outfits recited rhymes and presented speeches on the colour and its significance which was euphonious. A meeting was convened for teachers with Rev. Fr. Saju Chaakkalakal, Provincial, on Nov 20th 2023. Rev. Fr. Jose Paul, Manager, Rev. Fr. Dr. Philips Pontheckan, Principal, Rev. Fr. Varghese Chaakkalakal, Bursar, were the other dignitaries present. Rev. Fr. Saju Chaakkalakal gave a brief speech emphasising the importance of teachers as architects of future generation, to work in unison to promote a sense of fraternity thereby contributing to the building of a just and morally upright society. Children’s Day, the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was celebrated in our school on Nov 14th 2023 with great zeal and enthusiasm. The Chief Guest, Mr. Joseph Bipin Bayer, Proprietor, Trinity Retail Asset, Rev. Fr. Dr. Philips Pontheckan, Principal, Rev. Fr. Varghese Chaakkalakal, Bursar and PTA President, Mr. Ram Prasad, graced the occasion. To entertain the kids on their special day, teachers performed action songs, dances and speeches. The day emphasised the significance of giving love and affection to children who play a vital role in shaping our country’s future. Children enjoyed the day with gratification. To imbibe the spirit, of competition and to enable the students to bring to the limelight, their talents and abilities, Culfest was celebrated on Oct 27th 2023. The Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Dr. Wilson Chakkyath, Dr. Jane Elizabeth John, Guest of Honour, Rev. Fr. Jose Paul, Manager, Rev. Fr. Dr. Philips Pontheckan, Principal, graced the occasion. Various cultural competitions were conducted and students were divided into grade-wise categories each category had several competitions open to them like Poem recitation, Elocution, Extempore, Essay writing, Pencil sketching, Solo song, Solo dance, etc. It helped the students to bestow their potential. Sports day was celebrated on Oct 20th 2023 with lot of zeal and spirit as sports isn’t just a game, but a core philosophy woven into the fabric of life.
G. Chandeesh, Deputy Commissioner of Police was the Chief Guest. Rev. Fr. Dr. Philips Pontheckan, Principal, Rev. Fr. Jose Paul, Manager graced the occasion. Various sports events were conducted and the students were awarded with medals and certificates. Students of grades 8, 9 and 10 attended the counselling session on Oct 17th 2023. Students were counselled on the need to overcome procrastination, the pressure they face in their adolescence. They were also briefed of how to instil confidence which is vital for the success in academics and beyond. To provide a break from the monotony of classroom learning and foster social skills and individuality, a class tour was arranged for students. Students eagerly took part in the tour and had quality good time with their friends and teachers.

Grade 9 and 10 : Thekkadi (2 day trip) National Hindi Divas was observed on Sept 14th 2023. Charts highlighting the importance of the Hindi language, its cultural heritage and values were displayed. Dhruvi Somaiya for grade 8A gave a speech extolling the importance of the Hindi language. |
